Formed between the world of luxury and Sicilian craftsmanship, Tonino turned to ceramics as a design language. A stylistic choice dictated by love for his own land: leaving design to return to the lathe, to the gesture repeated thousands of times until it became method. He reinterprets the island's iconography, the Moor's head, the pinecone, with the sensitivity of the Italian designer-author, declinated in a Mediterranean key. Every piece that leaves his Sicilian atelier carries the same principle: form before decoration, project before ornament.
The hand is not a detail: it is the method. Every variation, every mark, is proof that behind the object there is a person.
Each piece begins with a drawing, on paper before in the earth.
The shape grows by hand on the wheel, turned one by one.
The raw clay becomes bisque in the first firing.
Enamels and colors applied by hand, without decals or series.
Gold details fixed in a third, delicate firing.
Engraved under the base: it closes the piece and opens its story.
